ROTHESAY COURT           

    Rothesay Court provides supported accommodation for homeless lone parents both male and female and single pregnant women, we have 17 one bedroom self contained flats and 4 three bedroom flats for larger families. Each flat has a kitchen, bathroom and lounge and is fully furnished.

    There is a communal lounge on the ground floor where families can socialize together, with a community cafe run by the resident families. Communal laundry rooms on each floor.

    We also have The Fun & Activity Club - Play Today where children can learn about themselves and their world, providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children and parents. The Play Today project is funded by Children in Need. 

    The project is staffed 24 hours and staff members are available to offer support and information. Each family that comes to Rothesay is different and the reasons for becoming homeless are varied & complicated. Each family is offered a needs led support package, tailor made depending on the families needs. Each support package can include Benefits/Budgeting, Health, Training, Managing Accommodation, Domestic Violence & Resettlement.

    The Housing Team consists of a Lifeskills Project Worker, a Substance Misuse Worker, 2 Resettlement Workers, 2 Service User Involvement Workers and 5 Night Project Workers led by the Housing Team Manager. The team work closely with each other and outside agencies such as Health, Social Care and Domestic Violence support agencies to ensure the families receive the right support.
