Welcome to The Stoke-on-Trent & District Gingerbread Centre Website.

We are an independent Charity and Limited Company who have been doing innovative work with Homeless Lone Parent Families for over 30 years.

Our main office is based in the Longton Area of the City of Stoke-on-Trent, in the heart of the Potteries; however we do cover the whole of North Staffordshire.

Gingerbread provides a range of services including supported homeless accommodation for Lone Mums & Dads, supported accommodation for Teenage Mums & support in the community to prevent homelessness. We work closely with other organisations both voluntary & statutory.

The Gingerbread Centre is NOT part of the National Gingerbread Organisation, though we do have close links with them. If you are looking for the National Gingerbread website, you will find a link on our 'links' page. Please note that all links are provided for information only - the websites are not especially recommended.

Starting in April 2012 is our Empowered Families Project, where we will support families to have more control in their lives and become active, contributing members of their community. This Project is funded by Big Lottery Fund, Reaching Communities.

We also have The Fun & Activity Club - Play Today where children can learn about themselves and their world, providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children and parents. The Play Today project is funded by Children in Need.
